Vintage Vinyl floorcloths feature a two-ply vinyl construction with a latex padded backing, ensuring non-flammability, absence of harmful phthalates, and UV resistance for up to three years.

Regarding Colors & Patterns: Due to the distinctive printing method, anticipate some color variation. Spicher & Company floorcloths are intentionally designed with a vintage aesthetic, incorporating visible lines and marks when zooming in on product images. Sizes exhibit varying scales and do not align proportionally. Please note a potential 1/4" size variance due to our production process.

Care and Maintenance

  • Vintage Vinyl® is durable in high traffic areas, but it is not indestructible. Use reasonable caution and care on this product. Do not drag metal or furniture across the surface. All furniture legs require felt pads with 7/32" thickness. Clean up all spills as soon as they occur. This will prevent staining.

  • Dust mop the floor to ensure all loose dirt and/or grit is removed. Wipe down with a damp cloth. For stubborn jobs, try diluted hand soap and rinse thoroughly after washing. Vintage Vinyl Care Sheet included with every shipment.

Our kitchen is a high traffic area and we do a lot of cooking. Dirt driveway, dogs. We've struggled to protect the floor from being destroyed. For many years we've used rugs, most recently giving Ruggable washable rugs a try. Awful. Finally decided to try one of these vinyl rugs. It's brand new, so I can't speak to how well it holds up over time but first impressions are excellent. Lays flat right out of the box. Very low profile and sweeps beautifully without debris sneaking under the edges. Nice matte finish.
